The Hollywood Hospitality Association - Mission Statement
Who We Are
The risk takers and visionaries of Hollywood.
We are a non-profit organization consisting of nightclub, restaurant,
bar & hotel business owners in the Hollywood and Los Angeles Area.
Our Mission
To collectively increase and firmly exercise our unified power, to
better augment business growth and profitability in present-day
Hollywood by 1) increasing industry awareness, 2) improving
administrative policy and processes, 3) maintain working relationships
with local and state officials as well as the community, and 4) be an
integral element in the current and future development of Hollywood.
Our Benefits
- For Members to be recognized as leaders in the community in the eyes of LAPD, LAFD, neighborhood councils and other community and municipal organizations.
- Collectively we have greater ability to achieve fair and improved local and state business practices that currently such practices are restricting our industries success.
- Through our experience and expertise together we can regulate and enforce within our own industry CUP conditions, consumption hours, entertainment restrictions, vendor monopolies, malicious prosecution, safety issues, etc. to give Hollywood the competitive forefront over a world wide growing hospitality industry.
- As Members we open the doors to an internal dialog that will allow us to discuss specific business challenges, successes and share resources amongst each other in our industry (i.e., employees, vendors, insurance costs and requirements, landlord issues, merchant and banking issues, etc.).
- As leaders in the community we will work with the community to achieve 'Balanced Growth' for Hollywood by partnering with the greater Hollywood community to address the critical issues impacting us collectively (e.g. shortage of parking, lack of infrastructure, traffic flow, daytime business use vs. night-time and crime).
Our Programs
- Ongoing participation with Los Angeles Police Department, Community Police Advisory Boards, Council Districts 4 and 13, Hollywood Neighborhood Councils, Chamber of Commerce, Traffic Committees, and the BID in addition to state and national associations further empowering The Hollywood Hospitality Association.
- Monthly HHA meetings with all Members.
- Annual fundraiser.
- Supporting local organizations that improve the quality of life and communities we live and work in (i.e., PAL, HBT, Hollywood Arts, etc.).
